THIRD CLASS

In this class we did our first practical activities involving the car project:
First of all we had to dissemble the car so we could understand how it assembles. Then we prepared it for scanning, we had to put little stripes of gray tape until it was squared because we were going to create that network digitally with the digitalizer arm.

To create the car we used Rhino and the digitalizer arm, this arm allows the computer to recognize 3D locations in a determinate area. We had to select every intersection of the tape and we did this by putting the tip of the arm on each point and then clicking of a special pedal which allows the arm to recognize that particularly point.

The final result was a network of lines which we will correct then in order to have the general form of the car and then modify it, only respecting the zones that will be touching the chassis to it can assemble perfectly.
